Assistant Professor and Head of the lab
My main interests are emotion, attention, self-perception and human multisensory perception in everyday, ecological contexts. My research focuses on the relationship between emotion and properties of visual, tactile and auditory stimuli, from a perspective of embodiment, which emphasizes the idea that the body is strongly connected to the information processing. Currently my main research projects involves a series of behavioural and neurophysiological experiments investigating how combined visual, tactile and motor signals modulate self-face recognition.
